가천대 길병원 신경외과 안용 교수가 대표적인 척추 미세침습 수술 중 하나인 척추 내시경 수술과 관련해 제1저자이자 동시에 교신저자로서 올해에만 SCI급 논문 6편을 발표했다.

최근 발표한 논문은 내시경하 요추간판 절제술 환자와 관혈적 현미경 수술 환자를 5년간 추적해 비교한 논문으로서 척추 및 통증 분야의 권위지인 ‘Pain Physician’ 5월호에 ‘Transforaminal Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy Versus Open Lumbar Microdiscectomy: A Comparative Cohort Study with a 5-Year Follow-Up’이라는 제목으로 개제됐다.

또 다른 논문은 척추 내시경 수술의 적응증을 세계 최초로 척추골유합술의 영역에 까지 확대, 응용해 결과를 보여준 것이다. 리뷰 논문분야의 유명 SCI급 학술지 중 하나인 ‘Expert Review of Medical Devices’ 5월호에 ‘Endoscopic transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion: a comprehensive review’라는 제목으로 발표됐다.
